How an evening goes
Five things to know.
-
01
The table
A round grill sits in every tabletop. Extraction is built in: the smoke goes into the system, not into your clothes.
-
02
What arrives
Marinated and plain cuts, vegetables, sauces and sides. Everything comes raw on platters, for you to lay on the grill.
-
03
Who grills
You do. Staff show you the first round, help turn if you like, and keep bringing more. If you’d rather watch, let the others at the table take over.
-
04
How long
Allow an hour and a half to two hours. This isn’t a quick meal, it’s an evening.
-
05
Booking
Grill tables are limited. Evenings and weekends, please book – otherwise it gets tight.
The room
The BBQ room.
Orange-and-black chevrons on the walls, framed embers, a wall of hundreds of gold caps carrying heavy type. Black tables, dark leather, round booths ringed in timber. The hall next door is alpine. In here it’s darker and denser.
Round booths around one grill. For nights when everyone should be involved.
